Description

A classic vintage Ronson Banker petrol lighter, believed to date from approximately the 1940s–1950s.

Manufactured in England, this elegant lighter features a polished chrome-plated body with distinctive vertical engraved detailing and Ronson’s iconic automatic ignition mechanism.

A lovely example of mid-century British craftsmanship and an excellent addition to any vintage lighter collection.

Condition

The lighter is in good overall vintage condition, showing signs of age and previous use consistent with its estimated age.

The chrome finish displays surface scratches, light tarnishing and general wear, particularly around the ignition mechanism and base. The decorative vertical detailing remains clearly defined, and the body appears free from major dents or structural damage.

The ignition mechanism has been tested and is fully operational.

The lighter is supplied with replacement wick and cotton separately, allowing the buyer to install these before filling and use.
